Projects

Recent side projects have taken the form of adversarial research: they seek to give "normal people" agency over their online identity. All are open-source and open to contribution.

Shared-Signals.Dev

Open-source project (forked originally from the SGNL.ai receiver) that demonstrates both transmitter / receiver capabilities with current event profiles from the Shared Signals Framework standard.

(NB - receiver code is published, with transmitter to come in early 2025)

Ruse

Facial recognition has faced several issues over the past year. Research into the accuracy issues of this technology are well documented, and a new wave of adversarial approaches seek to give individuals protection against misuse. This tool was discussed at Black Hat / DEF CON in 2021.

Spartacus As A Service

This is an attempt at privacy via obscurity, and this open source tool was presented in 2019 at Black Hat / DEF CON and the Crypto and Privacy Village. The concept is centered around the final scene in the movie "Spartacus," starring Kirk Douglas and a cast of . . . well, thousands.
